i think i will build this amp for me, i love tube sound and i need THE amp to push 2 200 watt speakes
i think this amp is the best choice becouse the 6550/kt88 are the best sounding tubes i have ever seen. i don't know about the 2a3 300b triodes.
what about the THD of this amp? what is the rated power of each monobloc?
i dont like the distorted (overdrived) sound in higher volumes. i like to hear the warm tube sound without hearable distorton.
can i use another tube in place of the EF86? in my country these tubes are too much expensive and i dont want to spend a lot of money in just one tube. i have a quad of EH kt88
and 4 JJ 12AX7.
whats the input sensivity of this amp?
